• Step 3 - Application Filing: We file Form TM-A with the Trademark Registry. Once complete, you can legally use the ™ symbol.
• Step 4 - Examination and Journal Publication: Examiners review the mark for absolute and relative grounds of refusal. Approved marks are published in the Trade Marks Journal for 4 months to allow public opposition.
• Step 5 - Registration Certificate: If no opposition is filed, the Registry issues the Trademark Registration Certificate, granting exclusive usage rights for 10 years (renewable indefinitely).
